17th Annual 'Corvettes @ The Pier' - Our People
09/04/10

Cruising to beat the band ... or in this case, the 'Vettes. We passed this one up on the way to get set up for the big day.
Yes, even in our 4 cyl. Malibu we flew by this sweet ride!

Some good ole kiddin' around helps to make the day memorable. SCA Members, Bill, Eli, Mike & George poke a little fun at Eli and his BSA Eagle Scout accomplishments & skills.

Well, can we say, 'What a gorgeous day, now?' Fearing the jinx, we dared not declare the weather during the event. First time in four years, no rain, no hurricanes swirling near-by. Yay!

Vendors row never looked so good.

Much to be observed and gained. Special thanks to all our vendors!

Somebody's ready to race!

Last-minute entries were accepted due to a few vacant spots ...

... and paid off for John Kitko. He took 'Top Three' in the C3 class with his beautiful '70 Copper 454!

The Valve Cover Races were added this year. Look for this to become a tradition at our annual event.

Getting the measurements just right ...

... and making them official.

Sylvia and her mom came all the way from TECO to visit, as Big Bend was steaming-up across the bay.

'Missed a spot!' Nah, just kiddin'! Looking good!

Eli took control and managed the races with the help of Tom & George. Well done guys!

Hey buddy, nice shirt!

Out judges hit the pavement. Ernie & Ray.

John & Eli take on the largest class.

Bill & Shannon are on the early C5 class ...

... get into their jobs. Great job!

Got dash plaques? 4 out of 5 Pier Shows. Well done!

Rain, rain, go away! Harry, Jacob & Bob getting it done!
