The 2021 Corvette is the second model year for the all-new mid-engine C8, debuting with just a few minor changes and updates over the initial 2020-model-year vehicle. Interestingly, the most popular 2021 Corvette trim level so far is the mid-range 2LT.
At the recent NCM Bash at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, take-rate figures for the 2021 Corvette trim levels and body styles were revealed, providing insight into what customers were buying.
As of April 1st, 59 percent of 2021 Corvettes produced were Coupe models, while 41 percent were Convertibles. Among the Coupes, 20 percent were in the 1LT trim level, 47 percent were in the 2LT trim level, and 33 percent were in the 3LT trim level.
Meanwhile, among 2021 Corvette Convertible buyers, 8 percent selected the 1LT trim level, 40 percent selected the 2LT trim level, and 52 percent selected the range-topping 3LT trim level.
