This is how Chevy Builds the C8 Corvette

From worldwide supply chains to vehicle design built to enable speedy production, every step is more complicated than you may assume.

Streamlining that process is key to the Corvette's success. More than any other sports car, it's a product that relies on high production numbers to bring supercar-besting performance to market at American sports car prices. A Z06 is not a cheap car, but it's because of Chevy's economies of scale that a $162,000 Z07-pack car can outrun a $342,595 Huracán Tecnica during Performance Car of the Year.
